We strongly advise use a different phone number for the WhatsApp Business Platform (API) of WhatzBot. Your API campaigns and activities should be the only focus of this phone number. The WhatsApp Business App and WhatsApp Messenger should not be used with it. Don't migrate your current number unless absolutely required.
Before beginning the API registration procedure, you must delete the WhatsApp account that is currently associated with your existing phone number if you decide to move it from WhatsApp Messenger or WhatsApp Business App to the WhatsApp Business Platform (API).
Important Note: Once you migrate your phone number to the WhatsApp Business Platform, you cannot use it on the WhatsApp Business App, as it is a WhatsApp/Meta feature.
To migrate your number, you first need to delete the account from WhatsApp Messenger or WhatsApp Business App.
To do that simply follow the below steps.
1. Open the WhatsApp Messenger or WhatsApp Business App on your Android or iPhone.
2. Go to Settings > Account
3. Select Delete my account
4. Confirm your phone number to permanently delete your WhatsApp account
It can take up to 3 minutes for the number to become available for use on the WhatsApp Business Platform.
Once done you can start the Onboarding process on WhatzBot.
